International Conference of Doctoral Candidates and

Young Scholars of Asian and African Studies

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Conference To The East, To The South is organized by the Doctoral Self-Government of the Faculty of the Oriental Studies of the University of Warsaw  and will be held on 28–29 September, 2015 in the Old Library Building of the University of Warsaw (ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, Warsaw, Poland).

We would like to invite papers related to all kinds of Asian and African research fields. The presentations will be grouped into methodological panels since the goal of the conference is to allow the young scholars interested in Asian and African cultures to present outcome of their current research and particularly the methodological approach to their topics and its practical use. The presentations should be no longer than 20 minutes + 5 minutes discussion.

The conference will be enriched by guest lectures of honourable guests from major Asian and African research centres of the world.
