Jak zostać tłumaczem ustnym? 

czyli How to become a fully-fledged interpreter

Wykład odbędzie się w języku angielskim i będzie tłumaczony na język polski.

In this talk, you will learn how to keep improving the level of your working languages, how to practise interpreting techniques both at home and with your friends and even how to get first practical experience in interpreting. You will receive dozens of practical hands-on tips to help you turn from a student of interpreting studies into a fully-fledged interpreter who stands good chances on the market. The talk will be in English with consecutive interpretation into Polish. (Note: Based on experience from the last lecture, make sure you come on time to secure a place as the number of seats in the room is limited.)

Lýdia is a PhD student from Slovakia who is spending this semester at the Jagiellonian University within the Visegrad Fund program. She has been an active conference interpreter in Slovakia for 5 years and she owes her early start into the interpreting profession mostly to her own autonomous preparation.
