Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the 21st PASE Conference will take place in Krakow on April 19-21 (Thursday-Saturday), 2012. The Conference will be hosted by the Institute of English Philology at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow.

The Organisers look forward to papers in the following areas of English studies:
1.General linguistics
2.Pragmatics
3.Translation studies
4.Applied linguistics, second language acquisition and methodology of teaching
5.British and Commonwealth literature
6.American literature
7.British and American culture

We would particularly welcome papers in which authors give new answers to old questions in their respective disciplines, or pose questions which have not been asked yet in their field of study. Papers are scheduled to take twenty minutes, followed by a ten-minute discussion.
Presenters are asked to submit abstracts of proposed papers, not exceeding 150 words, by January 15, 2012.

Conference fee:
PASE members: 550 PLN
non-PASE members: 600 PLN
