Studia Iberica

Studia Iberica (formerly: Studia Iberystyczne) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the questions of culture, language and literature of Spain, Portugal and the Latin American countries. The journal publishes original research works on the following language areas: Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Galician and Creole languages based on Spanish and Portuguese. Their topics fall into the fields of literary studies, linguistics, cultural studies, glottodidactics and translation studies.

The journal is published by the Department of Hispanic Philology and the Department of Portuguese Philology at the Institute of Romance Philology of the Jagiellonian University.

The articles are published in the Open Access system, and abstracts of the articles published in Studia Iberica are indexed in ERIH PLUS, CEOL, Index Copernicus and DOAI.

The publication is financed by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology of the Jagiellonian University of Cracow.
