Parliamentary interpellation on sworn translator exam

an initiative by the UNESCO Chair student

A parliamentary interpellation on the rules governing sworn translator exams has been addressed to the Polish Minister of Justice at the end of April.

The main focus of the interpellation was the permission to use computers during the sworn translator exam. The use of such equipment is allowed, inter alia, at the attorney and legal adviser exams.

The interpellation was prepared by Ziemowit Jóźwik, a student of the UNESCO Chair in Translation and Intercultural Communication. It was addressed to the Minister by MPs Lucjan Pietrzczyk and Zbigniew Pacelt.

The text of the interpellation (in Polish) is available at: http://orka.sejm.gov.pl/izo7.nsf/www1/i04300/$File/i04300.pdf
