On 18 April 2012 an open lecture by the UNESCO Chair lecturer Mr Dawid Gacek: "Sworn translator exam in practice" was delivered in the JU Auditoriium Maximum.

It was a part of a series of open lectures on the theory and practice of translation held by the UNESCO Chair in Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication in the academic year 2011/2012.
