Open lecture by Steve Yarbrough "How America Became Mississippi"

The Department of the History of American Literature and Culture annouces an open lecture by Prof. Steve Yarborough.

The lecture will take place on 11th May 2023, 6:30 pm in Collegium Paderevianum B, Room 401.
Prof. Steve Yarbrough is the author of twelve books, including Prisoners of War (Knopf, 2004), finalist for the 2005 PEN/Faulkner Award, and The Oxygen Man (McMurray & Beck, 1999), winner the California Book Award, the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Award for Fiction, and the Mississippi Authors Award. His work has appeared in Best American Short Stories, Best American Mystery Stories, and the Pushcart Prize Anthology, and has also been published in Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands, Japan, and Poland. Yarbrough teaches literature and writing at Emerson College (Boston, MA).
